These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, and services provided by The Animal Perspective Pte. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore, including our pet care and health management platform (the "Services").
Agreement to Terms By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Our Services
1.1 Description of Services
The Services include our web and mobile applications that enable pet owners, veterinarians, groomers, and other pet service providers to manage pet profiles, journals, health monitoring tools, reminders, communication features, and related content (collectively, the "Services").
1.2 Changes to Services
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Where a change materially affects core functionality, we will provide reasonable notice via the app or email.
1.3 No Medical or Veterinary Advice
Important Disclaimer The Services may provide general information related to pet care and wellness. They do not constitute veterinary, medical, or professional advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.
1.4 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Accounts and Users
2.1 Account Registration
You must create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate and current information and keep your login credentials secure.
2.2 User Roles
Accounts may include different user roles such as pet owners, veterinarians, groomers, and invited collaborators ("Users"). The account administrator is responsible for managing permissions.
2.3 Responsibility for Account Activity
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by Users you invite.
User Content and Pet Data
3.1 Your Content
"User Content" includes all data you upload or submit, such as pet profiles, health records, images, videos, notes, and messages.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, reproduce, and process your User Content solely to provide and improve the Services.
3.2 Responsibility for Content
You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to upload User Content, including where it contains personal data of third parties.
3.3 Sensitive Data
You agree not to upload:
- Human medical data or health records
- Payment card data
- Any data prohibited by applicable law
Pet health information is permitted but is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Community and Public Features
If the Services allow reviews, comments, or public posts, you grant us the right to display and share such content in connection with the Services. You are responsible for ensuring your posts are lawful and respectful.
Intellectual Property
5.1 Our IP
All software, designs, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to us.
5.2 Limited Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Services for lawful, personal or internal business purposes.
5.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer or copy the Services
- Use the Services to build competing products
- Misuse or overload the platform
Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with third-party tools such as payment providers, analytics, or veterinary systems. Your use of such services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Subscriptions and Payments
8.1 Fees
Certain features may require payment. Fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise specified.
8.2 Billing
You authorise us (or our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method.
8.3 Taxes
Fees exclude GST or other applicable taxes, which will be added where required.
8.4 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Trials and Beta Features
We may offer free trials or beta features. These are provided "as is" without warranties and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Termination
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or applicable law.
Data Export Upon termination, you are responsible for exporting your data before account deletion.
Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public business or technical information received in connection with the Services.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Services will meet all your requirements or that information provided will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability in connection with the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your User Content
- Your misuse of the Services
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved by:
- Good faith negotiations; and if unresolved,
- Arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under its rules.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email.
